Communication is key. A good leader listens and cares about everyone's wants and needs. In my opinion a good leader should be respectful and understanding. The issue that matters to me most right now is Global Warming. I first learned about global warming in my humanities class where I learned about the melting of polar ice caps and glaciers due to rising temperatures on earth. I have also learned that using more sustainable practices such as solar, wind, and hydroelectric power can greatly reduce the amount of pollution that is produced in our environment. Now I know what type of sustainable power sources I will be using in the future to help... ( read more)

Life and living it inspires me. Being able to know that no matter your race, colour, economic status and place of birth, you have dignity and right to live is a treasure that we should all encourage and embrace.
Seeing the youth of today trying to be citizens of one community and that is the global village makes me think that the day is now that we should be inspired by the challenges of this world and make the challenges to be gate way to opportunities. ( read more)
